Henley Royal Regatta has announced changes to the racing schedule that will create consistent start days for several events, shown below; in the past, the start days for certain events could vary based on entry numbers and other factors, and the changes are intended to "provide greater clarity for everyone involved, from crews making their travel arrangements to Members planning their attendance."

Since the Regatta moved to a six-day format in 2022, the Committee have been looking for ways to create a more predictable racing schedule, and in particular the day that each event starts. With this in mind and in order to help Members and their guests plan their daily attendance, the Committee are pleased to confirm that in 2025, the first round of the Club, Student and Junior events are scheduled to take place on the following days:

Tuesday 1 July 2025:

• Thames Challenge Cup (Open Club Eights)
• Wargrave Challenge Cup (Club Women's Eights)
• Wyfold Challenge Cup (Club Open Fours)
• Princess Elizabeth Challenge Cup (Junior Open Eights)
• Prince Philip Challenge Trophy (Junior Women's Eights)
• Fawley Challenge Cup (Junior Open Quadruple Sculls)
• Diamond Jubilee Challenge Cup (Junior Women's Quadruple Sculls)

• Britannia Challenge Cup (Club Open Fours)
• Temple Challenge Cup (Student Open Eights)
• Island Challenge Cup (Student Women's Eights)
• Prince Albert Challenge Cup (Student Open Fours)

The first rounds of the Premier and Intermediate events are expected to run from Thursday 3 July, depending on the size and quality of the entry for each event.
