Both the CRASH-B and WorldRowing Indoor Champs have announced they will be held as 'virtual only' events in 2022.
The World Rowing event was to be held in Hamburg Germany on February 25-26, while the CRASH-B will be held February 13.
The CRASH-B has partnered with USRowing again to make the regatta the USRowing Indoor National Championships.
The CRASH-B will offer open events from U15 through all masters categories, including para events; lightweight racing will be offered in masters and U23 entries. Accommodations for location will be made for the CRASH-B, with 10 seconds being subtracted from the final time for rows completed at 5400 feet or higher.
USRowing will be accepting scores from the event as official junior national team erg test submissions.
In the case of the World Rowing Championships, entries were already open, so competitors who entered to compete in person will need to change their entries to race virtually.
