Even though the world won’t descend on the banks of the Charles this year for HOCR, you can still experience rowing Christmas from your home.
The Live Broadcast takes place today, Saturday October 17, from 12-2pm Eastern time.

There is also a feed for 'pre-broadcast racing' here.
When the official decision was made to pivot to a Global Remote Event, creating a live racing opportunity became a priority to recreate the HOCR experience. Streaming on YouTube on October 17th from 12PM to 2PM ET HOCR will launch its first ever non-water racing broadcast featuring Concept2 live ergometer racing.
The racing will be conducted using the Time-Team Homerace platform. This platform allows athletes to compete in real-time from home using Concept2 ergs with live tracking, visualization, and real-time data.
Despite the lack of bridge crashing and chowdah in a bread bowl - this HOCR will be a spectator friendly as ever.
No longer will you be confined to cheering from a single bridge or boathouse - this year, follow the racing with a water level video that will be synced to the leading boat from each race and an overhead 3D aerial map that will track all racers icons from multiple angles along the course.
Announcers in Boston and around the globe will bring the racing to life. Anchoring the HOCR 4702 broadcast desks in Boston will be HOCR Executive Director Fred Schoch and FISA announcer Colleen Saville.
Remote broadcast from the UK will include the talents of Robert Jones, Camilla Hadland and Peter O’Hanlon. Completing the announcing crew will be University of Washington coach Yaz Farooq.
In addition to live racing coverage the broadcast will feature interviews covering the newly launched HOCR x Gold Cup Grant Fund, HOCR volunteer stories, USRowing National Team appearances, and more!
Tune in starting at 12PM on October 17th.
