What makes the Head Of The Charles so special is that there is so much more than rowing at the world's largest regatta. There's great energy all weekend, both on and off the water. Check out these venues located throughout the celebrated 3-mile racecourse-and beyond!
Rowing & Fitness EXPO
The EXPO has all the coolest gear and healthy resources, for rowers and non-rowers alike. Nearly 60 merchants and exhibitors of all lifestyles will be there-including artisans, clothiers, health organizations, sports groups and much more! Purchase official "Head Of The Charles" fleece jackets, program books, posters and other Regatta memorabilia at the HOCR Licensed Merchandise booth. Applaud the fastest rowers who will win the coveted title of "Head Of the Charles" at the three Awards Ceremonies scheduled throughout the weekend. Take the free shuttle to this action-packed venue, which is located at the Finish Area Launch Site (FALS) at Herter Park in Brighton. The HOCR Rowing & Fitness EXPO is open to the public Saturday until 8 PM; on Sunday until just before 5:00 PM.
Reunion Village
For decades, the Head Of The Charles has been considered the unofficial reunion event for schools, clubs and groups from around the nation. The Regatta's "Reunion Village" is a convenient easy-to-find central destination spot for people to meet with friends and family. 'The Village' has one of the best vistas to watch the race events, real-time competitor updates, warm food and cold drinks. Visit the Andalucia tent within the area to enter to win a free trip to Spain! "Reunion Village" is located by the Weeks Footbridge on the 'Boston side' of the river, and is open to the general public. Admission is $1 per person.
