The All-American Rejects will headline the Saturday performance of the second-annual Row-a-Palooza. Row-a-Palooza, which will take place on the "Cambridge side" of the Charles River near the Weeks Footbridge, is a live, two-day music festival that is part of the Head Of The Charles rowing regatta.
For the second straight year, Nautica Jeans, a key sponsorship partner of the Head Of The Charles, will sponsor the main music stage.
The All-American Rejects, best known for hits "Dirty Little Secret", "Swing Swing" and "Time Stands Still", are part of a lineup that will include 12 bands over two days. Ranging from reggae to hip hop to cover bands and new-break-out musicians, the concert will be held on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. As headliners for the event, The All-American Rejects will perform at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Row-a-Palooza is one of the many attractions that run in conjunction with the Head Of The Charles to make the weekend event a total spectator experience. More than 7,500 athletes and 250,000 spectators descend upon the Charles River each October for what has become the world's largest two-day rowing event.
"We excited to bring a top-level headliner like The All-American Rejects to Boston and are equally excited to be able to once again partner with a quality brand such as Nautica," said Schoch. "Row-a-Palooza offers fans a weekend of free music and brings with it a perfect view of one of the area's most popular events, the Head Of The Charles."
