Ethan Curren – Community Rowing
Coached athletes who won gold in the women’s single sculls at the 2013 USRowing Youth National Championships and placed fifth in the women’s eight in their best performance since 2005. Won gold in the JW4+ and JW2- at the 2013 USRowing Club National Championships. Won gold in the U19 W2- at the 2013 Canadian Henley Regatta.Casey Galvanek – Sarasota Crew
Coached Sarasota to district, state, and regional team championships. Coached the men’s varsity eight to a gold medal at the 2013 USRowing Youth National Championships. Two of his athletes went on to compete on the 2013 Junior National Team.Conal Groom –Seattle Rowing Center
Athletes won silver in the M1x, silver in the W4x, gold in the M2-, and gold in the LM4+ at the 2013 USRowing Youth National Championships. The team won the overall points trophy for both men and women at the 2013 USRowing Northwest Junior District Championships. He also coached the U.S. M4x to a sixth-place finish at the 2013 World Rowing Junior Championships.Holly Hatton – Bromfield-Acton/Boxborough Rowing
Bromfield-Acton/Boxborough Rowing Team qualified 15 rowers for the 2013 USRowing Youth National Championships, where the W4+ won gold. Took four rowers to England to compete in Women’s Henley and the Henley Royal Regatta. The quad not only qualified to compete at Henley Royal but finished in the top eight out of 21 competing crews overall.Stephen McKiernan – Boston College High School
In just their fifth year of competition, led the BC High Eagles to win the overall boys’ team points trophy at the 2013 NEIRA Regatta and were quarterfinalists in the student 8+ category at the 2013 Henley Royal Regatta. BC High sent five rowers to this year’s U.S. Junior Development Camp.
