12/17: HOCR Eve Sunset Row
The skies aligned for Thursday night prior to the start of Head Of The Charles for a full moon rise over the Charles River. In 2013, we photographed a similar event, but unfortunately this year there were clouds blocking the eastern horizon, so no moon pics.
This year we arranged for the Women's Lightweight Great Eight, featuring eight lightweight scullers from the Paris Olympics to be out on the water for the moon rise. The clouds blocking the moon lit up with color in every direction though, making for some beautiful sunset light. Here is our favorite image, but you can see the rest starting here.
