12/12: Volunteers Podium Finish
It took new Tennessee head coach Kim Cupini all of one year to put the Volunteers on the podium at the NCAA championships. The team finished third overall and was lead by A Final finishes for all three crews, with both eights winning bronze and the four finishing in fifth place.
Not only was it Tennessee's first podium finish, but it was their first time qualifying for the event since 2010. Read a bit more about Tennessee's year in our NCAA recap here.
