Greek sculler Stefanos Ntouskos stunned the rowing world when he won the men's single at the Tokyo Olympic Games, upsetting the medal favorites to take the gold. It was his first senior team medal, but not his first Olympics, having competed in the Men's Lightweight Four in Rio. From row2k's race report, "I did not think I could win," said Ntouskos. "I was in third place at 750 meters. There was one possibility, to go up with stroke rate. I changed my rhythm and power, and then I was in front."
