A number of boathouses and rowing venues were hit hard by Hurricane Ida, in most cases by intense flooding. We are reposting evidence of the devastation here; yes this smacks of disaster tourism, but I hope there is value in letting the rowing community know the extent of the situation.
I have been told that no one has been hurt in Philadelphia at least, and have not heard of any injuries to rowers elsewhere; obviously there have been injuries and casualties due to the storm, sadly.
The Philadelphia flooding in particular impacts a ton of rowing people, including high schools, clubs, universities, and individuals.
If you want to help, it is best to contact programs directly, with the understanding that coaches and athletes have their hands full at present, so strictly rubbernecker texts are probably not the best call.
The Temple boathouse was submerged at least halfway up the boathouse doors, St. Joe's as well:
The St. Joe's boathouse looks only a little better off:
Inside the boathouse:
The Rutgers dock was washed away with launches still attached and eventually wrapped around a bridge downstream:

Boathouse Row and Vine St Expressway is fully underwater:
Philly is one with the Schuylkill this morning. Boathouse Row, submerged. Vine Street Expressway, submerged. That brand new Giant... submerged. Historic flooding possibly not seen here in more than a century. @CBSPhilly pic.twitter.com/oKwtlWe3fc

No rowing but before and after of Green Bridge Lane shows the situation very clearly:

Manayunk underwater:
WOW: An Eyewitness News viewer shared this video with me, taken this morning on the Manayunk Bridge. Thankfully, the floodwater on Main Street is receding this evening, but many lifelong neighbors here say they have never seen the Schuylkill River flood this extensively. pic.twitter.com/mgRKruymLN

Princeton boathouse fared a bit better:
The water has receded at most boathouses by this morning, although I-676/Vine St Expressway is still largely submerged:
#FirstAlertTraffic: I-676 in Philly remains a river of water this morning as crews work to pump out the flooded roadway. Stretches of the Kelly Drive and MLK Drive also remain closed due to Schuylkill River flooding. Here's the latest: https://t.co/gKfzfb80Gv
