In a previous Wayback Wednesday we noted how in the early 19th century, photographs of rowing were few and far between given the technology of the time. To highlight some of the ways that rowing was promoted and remembered in these early days, this week's Wayback Wednesday we are highlighting rowing artwork.

We would love to do another reader submitted Wayback Wednesday in the near future. If you have any old school rowing images we should check out and are allowed to share, please send them to us.
