It’s Wayback Saturday! Wednesday would have been the start of the Henley Royal Regatta. For those who are relatively new to rowing, the Henley Regatta was first held in 1839 and the traditional length of the course is 1 mile 550 yards or 2,112 meters. You can always go back and check out our past Henley coverage or past galleries here. While Wayback Wednesday is typically a once-weekly feature, each day for the five days that would have hosted HRR 2020 we will share classic Henley photo from a time before row2k made their way to the Thames; photos provided by HRR.
