Did your crew or a crew you know of have a great race over the weekend? Nominate them for row2k's "Crew of the Week" poll. Nominations must be submitted by 5pm EST each Monday. row2k will then select six outstanding crews for poll voting on Tuesday and Wednesday. The crew with the most votes will be recognized as row2k's "Crew of the Week".

Nomination criteria in 50 words or less:

  • Convince row2k that your crew executed an exceptional race or overcame difficult conditions and or opponent to win.
  • row2k will select six crews from the following categories for the poll.
    • College Men's Heavyweight
    • College Women's Openweight
    • College Lightweight
    • Junior
    • Club/Masters/Elite
  • Only a crew's performance during the previous week will be taken into account during selection.
  • Any crew that wins "Crew of the Week" will be exluded for the rest of the season.

  • June 16
    • Winner - Newport AC Junior Men - Completed "Back to Back" Undefeated Spring Seasons and National Championships in the Men's Youth 8 as well as winning the Men's Youth Lightweight 8 in Cincinnati, the first program ever to capture both 8's titles at Youth Nationals.

    • Finalists - Cincinnati Country Day School Girl's Lightweight 4+, GMS Rowing Center Junior Girls, Marin Junior Girl's Varsity 8+, Peddie School Girl's Varsity 4+
  • June 9
    • Winner - Washington Men's Team - Won four of the five heavyweight events at the IRA, including a come from behind win in the Varsity 8. First time in 12 years that a program swept the eight oared events at the regatta.

    • Finalists - Boston University Men's Team, California Men's Heavyweight Varsity 4+, Wisconsin Women's Lightweight Varsity 8+
  • June 2
    • Winner - Williams Women's Varsity Eight - Team won their fourth consecutive Division III team title and and their top boat won the Varsity 8 race.
    • Voting Results
    • Finalists - Stanford Women's Team, United Kingdom Senior Team, Virginia Women's Varsity 8+, Yale Women's Second Varsity 8+
  • May 27
    • Winner - Michigan Men's Team - At the ACRA National Championship regatta, the Wolverines won the 1F, 2F, 2V and 1V by 8 seconds of open water.

    • Finalists - Andover Boys, Boston University Men's Heavyweight 8+, Gonzaga College High School Boy's Varsity 8+, Phillips Exeter Academy Girls
  • May 19
    • Winner - Radcliffe Women's Varsity 8+ - The 15th-ranked Radcliffe HV8+ used a tremendous second 1000 to upset both 4th-ranked Brown and 7th-ranked Princeton, taking second in the Grand at Sprints. The crew came within 1.5 seats of Yale, and finished only 0.9s off the two-time defending NCAA champions.

    • Finalists - Bishop Eustace Girl's Varsity 8, Green Lake Juniors, Koven/Walsh, Virginia Women's Varsity 8+, Washington Freshmen 8's
  • May 12
    • Winner - Brown University Men's Team - Won all five events at Eastern Sprints they entered including the 1V, 2V, F8, 2F8, and V4 to win the Rowe Cup. The Varsity 8 was the first team to defeat top ranked Wisconsin over 2000 meters since the 2007 IRA.

    • Finalists - Boston University Men's Team, Central Catholic HS (Pitt) Boys, Grand Valley State Women's Varsity 8, Marina Aquatic Center Girls 4x, Yorktown HS Boys Varsity 8
  • May 4
    • Winner - Williams Men's Heavyweight Varsity 8 - Defeated Trinity at the New England Rowing Championships for their first championship in the event since 1996, ending Trinity's winning run in the event.

    • Finalists - Brown Women's Varsity Eight, Michigan State Women's Varsity Eight, St. Augustine Boy's Varsity Eight, St. Lawrence Men's Novice Eight, Stanford Women's Team
  • April 28
    • Winner - Princeton Men's Lightweight Varsity 8 - Knocked off rivals Harvard and Yale to win the Goldthwait Cup.
    • Voting Results
    • Finalists - Warren Anderson/Brett Sickler, Granby High School Rowing, Maritime Rowing Club Girls, Syracuse Men's Heavyweight Varsity 8, Virginia Women's Varsity 8
  • April 21
    • Winner - Clemson Women's Varsity Eight - The 14th ranked Tigers defeated 11th ranked Virginia to be the first crew from a school other an Virginia to win the Varsity Eight event at the ACC Championships. The win locked up the team championship as well, ending Virginia's nine year streak as ACC champs.

    • Finalists - Lafayette Women's Varsity Eight, MIT Men's Heavyweight Varsity Eight, New Canaan High School, Saint Joseph's Women's Varstiy Eight, Wisconsin Men's Heavyweight Varsity Eight
  • April 14
    • Winner - Columbia Men's Heavyweight Varsity Eight - Beat Princeton and Penn to win the Child's Cup for the first time in 46 years. Won by nine seconds to win the only cup race they didn't win in 2008.

    • Finalists - Cornell Men's Lightweight Freshmen Eight, Loyola College Women's Novice 4+, Mercyhurst Men's Lightweight Varsity 4+, New Hampshire Women's Varsity Eight, Old Dominion Women's Team
  • April 7
    • Winner - Michigan Women's Varsity Eight - Won the Jessop-Whittier Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic over favored and defending champion Washington. First non-west coast crew to win the Jessop-Whittier since 1991.

    • Finalists - California Men's Heavyweight Varsity Eight, Marietta Men's Varsity Eight, MIT Men's Heavyweight Freshmen Eight, Oklahoma Women's Novice Eight, Simmons College Women's Novice Eight
