Men's Varsity Eight Grand Final, 2017 IRA

Everyone knows that Yale won three straight IRAs from 2017-2019; most folks don't remember how close this one was.

Lightweight Women's Single, 2014 World Champs

Racing in stiff tailwind condition, this is race you need to watch to the end.

Men's Varsity Lightweight Eight Grand Final, 2011 IRA

Dartmouth took this race out early and looked to be setting the pace, but the finish of this one was just nuts.

Men's Double, 2012 Olympics

Slovenia and Italy looked to have gold and silver sewn up with 500 to go, before the NZ duo of Nathan Cohen & Joseph Sullivan bring the sprint; get your stroke watches out.

Men's Coxed Pair, 1997 World Championships

The US undergraduate (and undersized) combo of Jordan Irving, Scott Fentress and Nick Anderson made this one very interesting.

I often play it for the young kids I coach at the Sag Harbour Institute of Training & Rowing. I like it because it is a good demonstration of technique and mine is not that good anymore after some guy made me race with 3 inches of feet height at HOCR in 2018.
