Head of the Fox Salutes Matt Fox
October 16, 2006
Paula Leier-Engelhardt

This year, the 17th annual Tail of the Fox Regatta in De Pere, Wisconsin was about a lot more than a great day of racing on the Fox River. The Tail of the Fox Regatta is put on by the La Baie Verte Rowing Club of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and St. Norbert Crew from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. This year, a member of SNC Crew, Matt Fox, was mobilized with his National Guard unit to serve in Iraq. To show our support for Matt, yellow ribbons were displayed all over the marina and on each LBVRC and SNC boat that raced. In addition, a poster was on display all day, and competitors and spectators were encouraged to add a note for Matt. LBVRC and SNC Crew thank everyone who came to the 2006 Tail of the Fox, and we especially thank everyone who took a moment to add their note of support for Matt. Matt, wherever you may be, know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of a lot of people.
