Our team is saddened by the news that all spring competitions have been cancelled. Although this is an unfortunate turn of events, our rowers are resilient, and we recognize that we will be stronger come next season. The status of COVID-19 changes every day, and it is our responsibility to do what we can to slow its spread. Our team will be back on the water as soon we are cleared to do so, but in the meantime, our athletes will be training on their own. We would like to thank our coaches and trainers for their guidance, our parents and supporters for their encouragement, our rowing community for providing a positive space for growth, and all of our athletes for remaining flexible in these unprecedented times. Please stay tuned for future updates!

Along with the rest of the rowing community, we are disappointed to see our season come to an end before it started. However, we are grateful for a college and league that prioritizes our health and safety, for a community that has supported us through everything, and for eachother. We are thankful for the bonds that we have formed and for the family (both team and our extended families) that we have been able to lean on in trying times. We are all deeply saddened with the cancellation of our season. We had bigs things planned this year and our necks were ready for medals. Logically it makes sense to postpone Olympic trials. The COVID-19 pandemic is serious and should be handled as such. Emotionally it?s a little more difficult. . I don?t know what will happen in terms of Olympic trials here in the states, the final Olympic qualification regatta in Switzerland and even the games themselves in Tokyo.
