MIT Battleship Rig at HOCR

Today's photo is the strangest rig we saw this year, the ever elusive battleship rig.  It was popularized by the Stanford Men in the spring of 2012 and the Wisconsin Freshmen last year.  This year it was spotted at the Head Of The Charles being rowed by the MIT Men's Alumni 8+.  How'd you row that thing by fours or sixes?!?

Very easy to row by 4's! Stern 4 and bow 4 can row separately, provided 4 and 5 seat move out of the way, respectively.

We never did figure out a way to go by 6's though...

P.S. Wait till next year's rig...
