Washington state members of the 2004 U.S. Olympic Rowing Team joined 17 Olympians from the state, Wednesday, December 22nd at the Washington State Capitol in Olympia for a reception in their honor hosted by Washington State Gov. Gary Locke and Gov. Albert D. Rosellini, chairman of the Washington State United States Olympic Committee.
To honor the athletes, Gov. Locke presented each Washington Olympian with a copy of his proclamation recognizing Dec. 22nd as Washington State Olympians Day in the State of Washington.
