The U.S. Naval Academy is looking to hire a full-time Rigger/Boathouse Manager. This position would be under the direct supervision of the Navy Director of Rowing and work with all three Navy rowing programs (heavyweight men, lightweight men, and women).
The applicant should have experience in shell repair, equipment care, oar painting, outboard engine maintenance, trailer driving, and rigging. The position will also act as boathouse manager for facility maintenance to include janitorial service, building inspections, shell racks, erg rooms, rowing tanks, truck/trailer maintenance, race course set up, and all coordination with Navy facilities and equipment managers.
The applicant should have in depth experience working with large high school and/or collegiate rowing programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director of Rowing, our three head rowing coaches, and all of our student-athletes to create a culture of excellence at Hubbard Hall, the Navy Boathouse.
