Head of the Trent Regatta · November 17, 2015 The Head of the Trent regatta takes place every year on the Trent-Severn Waterway and winds its way through Trent University's campus. Head racing has boats send off individually and racing the clock versus the standard two-kilometre Olympic racing format. The races are also a bit longer, about six kilometres.
