Mens Collegiate Frosh/Novice 4+, Race 42, Navy Day Regatta, ~1:10 p.m., October 11, 2014, Schuylkill River, Philadelphia, PA. Bow 393 from 0:00 to 5:15. Time of 15:08.98, 5th place. Bow 402 from 5:21 to 15:10 with particular excellence from 7:00 to 8:10. Time of 16:42.90, 9th place. Time includes 0:30 penalty for "Failure to Pass through the Proper Arch." Temperature 54 degrees, Wind speeds colinear with course averaging ~4 mph. Very light mist falling during this race. It had rained heavier earlier in the day. Camera placed on the East bank of the Schuylkill River, just upstream of the Gerard Avenue Bridge and closer stone rail bridge which is in the foreground of much of the footage. The upstream straightaway starts just after the turn following the Columbia Street Bridge, which is occluded by the trees, camera right.
