Father Daughter Rowing Champs Tarah Llewellyn · August 28, 2012 My best friend Molly and her dad, John Struzziery, have become an incredible rowing duo thanks to hard work and lots of early (very early) practices while preparing for the 20 mile rowing race, The Blackburn Challenge held in Cape Ann's waters. This short video was shot when I joined them on two separate occasions: once by myself chasing after them on my father's zodiac, the other I was able to have a bit more control with the Flip cams thanks to my dad who took the wheel one morning on his boat the Hey Mon. For a while Molly and her dad would wake up every Thursday morning, as you can tell from the rising sun, before catching the commuter boat into Boston for work. Proof of their hard work is now represented by the medal they won for finishing first place in their class. Besides that and the rewards that come from a serious physical workout, I know that father and daughter had a lot of fun rowing together. Great job guys!
