Members of the school's boat club attempt to break the World & British record for rowing 100000 metres on an indoor rowing machine (the ergo). The inspirational words to the backing song are as follows: "Ergo to Glory" Well I'm pushing on the Ergo, As the blood begins to flow - It boils with every poison you can think of. And I'm underneath the spotlight, But the joy of pain I know - Tired beyond belief, way down in the shadows. And the perverted fear of failure Chokes a smile on every face, And common sense is ringing out your bell. This ain't no psychological breakdown, Oh no, this is the ergo to glory. As all your veins fog up with lactic, And there's nothing you can do - It's all just tears and torture, flying like you do. So watch out boy, take a good look What goes down here - You must learn this lesson fast, and learn it well.
