Why I Row (Senior Thesis)

Why I Row" began as a written piece in response to the curiosity of friends and family trying to grasp what it is that drives us rowers to participate in such a demanding sport. In a highly competitive sport like crew, sacrifices must be made, time managed, and passion present at every step of the way. In writing "Why I Row", I took a deep look within myself, and what it is that drives me personally to wake up early, give it my all before most other people are even fully awake, and still strive to be better, all before the day has even really began.
