He should lose the mask (and attitude) and watch this video: http://www.concept2.com/us/training/technique.asp#errors  Looks like he's lifting knees too early, dropping hands at catch/opening back early, bit too much layback, and rushing slide (and everything, no ratio) Still, he's rowing better than many people you see at the gym.
