Rowing technique, roeitechniek: nice catch, goede inpik, inzet, plaatsen, roeien met Baaf baaf10 · October 14, 2012 I like this catch. It's old footage and it's shaky without audio but nevertheless the quality is good enough to show how a good catch should be like: quick, smooth, clean and not much slippage. Also nice locking of the blade in the water. A good catch doesn't require power, it's about good timing, being quick and comfortable. I'm not very charmed by the finish but it didn't stop this pair for becoming world champions in 1997. Lightweight Coxless Pairs -- Benedict Schmidt and Mathias Binder, Switzerland Lac D´Aiguebelette, France, LM2-, Worldchampions in a time of 6:33
