Re: 1996 Olympic mens Final in Slow Motion: At the end of the video -- the last few strokes of Derek Porter --an excellent example of how to lead with the right hand on the recovery. Porter rowed this race brilliantly in terms of tactics as well as technique. Today the rig on some of the scullers boats looks big and clumsy, but the camera angle and the shots of the champion Canadian sculler make this video an inspiration. Porter didn't get the gold, but he's a winner here.
