1990 World Rowing Championships - LWT Men's 2x Stephen Peterson · January 30, 2013 TV coverage from the Grand Final of the Lightweight Men's Double Sculls at the 1990 World Rowing Championships in Tasmania, Australia.
The most tremendous sprint ever delivered by a US Crew in international competition! You can be a length down with 250-to-go and win a race. After 7min into a brutal head wind, Punk and Bob prove it in this clip!! The Lwt 2X event is perhaps one of the most challenging events to win, with so many entrants and so much speed, but with good brave athletes, like Punk and Bob, and good coaches it can happen. We have the athletes out there today who are brave enough to compete. It is a shame that usrowing is afraid to compete and will not be funding the Lwt 2X for Rio.
