"We made a cross-training change two years ago and a technical change on the recovery that is paying nice dividends. We are heading back to the Crew Classic for the first time in ten years and Dexter Lake for our first time so the squad is excited about our race schedule. Just keeping our fingers crossed La-Niña doesn’t throw a wrench into the wheel."

"This is a good returning group. We’re excited about the depth of the team this year, even though with a smaller squad of only 3 eights total, we’ve managed to keep an efficient enthusiasm. I think we’ve adapted well to the economy by rearranging our travel schedule and competitive focus. Of course, the weather has been kind to the NW this winter, too. That always helps."
