2012 Outlook
"Even though we only have three athletes returning from last year’s Varsity eight, and likely only one or two seniors in the varsity eight this Spring, we are on full attack course. We have a great group of younger rowers who have risen to junior who will take the lead in this group, carefully guided by the few seniors we have left. The class of 2011 had left the team with success, confidence and lots of fun about what they are doing. We simply pick up where we left off and go as fast as we can.

"We had a solid Fall season, finishing 1st and 2nd at the Charles in the four and eight respectively. More importantly though, we continue to make improvements to everything we do. We further developed our walk-on recruiting program, as well as the novice and varsity rowing education-system. Our novices are excited, the varsity is excited and we can’t wait for March to come!

"Our main focus of course is Dad Vails and the ACRA championship. Dad Vails as always is anyone’s game and simply a spectacle we all enjoy tremendously! Whoever is able to put down the best row that day will take it. ACRA has seen big improvements and we are happy to have a target on our backs for the varsity eight, but there is more than that: There is sculling, small boats, lightweights - and we take them all very serious; they are all very important to us. We are looking forward to great racing on the Olympic course in Gainesville, GA."
