"Simmons is looking forward to a competitive 2011 season, and will jumpstart training with a spring break trip to florida. The team will aim to break into the grand finals at NERC and ECAC and overall improve their finishes from 2010. This is a very enthusiastic group, and they are working hard to achieve the team goals."

2010 Outlook
"Simmons Crew had a strong fall 2009 season with a first-ever varsity eight victory in the Seven Sisters Regatta. The team traveled to Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, for Spring Break training, and after scrimmaging against Florida Tech the Sharks are excited to begin the spring 2010 racing season. The team will look to build on the program's success of the past several years, and to achieve Simmons' first-ever bid to the NCAA Championships."
