"Rutgers will be returning seven out of the first varsity eight this year and has a squad that features nine seniors. The leadership of the senior class has really set the tone for the year as Rutgers was the top collegiate crew at the Head of the Schuylkill this past fall and an 8th place finish at the Foot of the Charles. We are looking to continue our climb upwards in our spring schedule including the Big East Championships and the Eastern Sprints."

"The Rutgers Women are looking forward to the 2010 racing season. Last year’s young squad learned quite a bit from race to race in 2009 and they look to continue to build their boat speed this year. The race schedule is a very competitive schedule week in and week out where Rutgers will be racing top teams in preparation for the Big East Championships and the Eastern Sprints."
