2011 Outlook "Our team is showing better depth which should make us more competitive in the 2nd 8 and the varsity 4. We graduated some key varsity 8 members but we have a number of athletes that have stepped up to fill their spots. Both the novice and varsity squads are setting team erg records so we are looking forward to seeing this transfer into boat speed in the Spring."

2010 Outlook "We are looking forward to the Spring Season. We start with a scrimmage against Virginia and then race a number of out-of-region teams including Brown, Yale and USC. These races in addition to the great competition in the Big Ten will make every weekend exciting and challenging. We have a number of returners that should keep us competitive in the top boats and we had 13 of 16 of our novices return from last season which will help with depth and speed. The freshmen have a good mix of experienced rowers and walk-ons which should make them very competitive."

Head Coach Mike Bailey, 2nd Year
2010 Finish
- Varsity 8: 5th at ACRA
- Novice 8: 7th at SIRA, 6th at Dad Vail, 6th at ACRA
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 5
2011 Seniors - 1
2011 Outlook "It is often hard to transition between coaches but this crew has taken the challenge head on. Last season yielded our fastest novice crew in the team’s history. Our Novice Heavyweight 8 made the Grand Finals at Dad Vail and ACRA for the first time in school history. We’re looking forward to the returning novice men to combine with the returning varsity men to make an even faster varsity boat. Our Varsity 8 will be led by our lone senior but we think the young crew will stack up well against its competition.
"We’ve had a very productive winter – training hard day-in and day-out. While we still have a lot of work to do over spring break and leading up to our racing season, we’re hoping that after logging countless hours of training we will be ready to compete at our maximum potential.
"Our club will be racing at the Lubber’s Cup, SIRA, MACRA, Dad Vail, and ACRA this year. We are confident that we can make the grand finals at every regatta and are working on making that push to put us into medal contention."

Head Coach Mike Bailey, 2nd year
2010 Finish
- Varsity 8: 3rd at SIRA, 4th at Dad Vail
- Novice 8: 2nd at SIRA, Dad Vail Champs
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 4
2011 Seniors - 1
2011 Outlook "Our Novice Lightweight 8 won gold at Dad Vail last year. With the majority of that boat returning to combine with the returning member’s of last year’s Varsity Lightweight 8, that finished 4th at Dad Vail, we’re looking at a very competitive boat. This crew is relatively young as it only has one senior. Many sophomores are stepping up to fill the shoes of last year’s departing seniors, as the junior class is helping set the standard for a new group of fast, varsity men."
