"The Miami program has a new an exciting competitive nature and this next natural stage of development comes as a result of the approach of a very young, positive, and energetic squad. The physical, technical, and psychological position of the team is vastly improved and, as a result, we are much better positioned for the spring '12 racing schedule. Considering how young the Team is, combined with the daily, weekly, and monthly improvements we've seen, we're excited for this spring and beyond."

2011 Outlook
The team is very young with the majority currently in their first year at the University. There is a great deal of energy as the foundation gets laid for coming season and beyond. Coming off a solid fall in which this freshman group were able to win the 8+ at the Hooch and finish second and fifth in the 4+, we will see them have a significant role as we create varsity crews in 2011."
