2012 Outlook "The 2011-12 Hoosiers look to build upon the momentum from last year’s successful spring season. Returning varsity athletes have set their sights even higher this year and the fact that we have already knocked off several top 20 programs this fall is proof the athletes are doing the work necessary to reach those goals.
"The 2012 spring racing schedule has the team facing off against crews from all five NCAA regions, ten schools ranked in the top 20 nationally, and a trip to California where we will see three of the top four finishers from last year’s NCAA Championships. It is a challenging schedule, but one that will definitely showcase the Hoosiers speed.
"2011 was the most successful year in Indiana Unviersity rowing history. But with a large group of highly motivated returning varsity, and an extremely strong group of freshman, 2012 promises to be even better. Row Hoosiers!!!"

2010 Outlook "The Indiana Rowing team is extremely excited for the upcoming spring season. This year has been a breakout year for the program as everyone, from freshman to senior and novice to varsity, has stepped up both on and off the water to make 2010 - 'Our year.' With a strong group of returning athletes and one of the strongest groups of freshman in IU’s history, we have seen big improvements in boat speed during our fall practices and racing, and that has carried over into our winter training. Daily, we are seeing some of the best erg scores this team has ever had, in addition to some unbelievable results in the weight room. From the first day in the fall, the focus has been on improving all aspects of our training, from the physiological to the psychological and to the technical… all with the singular focus of making sure we are 100% ready to go as fast as we possibly can from start to finish. The work we have done has the ’10 Hoosiers better prepared and more confident than ever for our challenging 2010 racing season which includes six crews who raced at the NCAA’s last season as well as schools from four of the five regions nationally. 2010 is going to be a very special year for the Hoosiers."
