2017 Outlook
"The team is working diligently to accomplish their goals individually and collectively. They are aware that the level of competition in the West Coast Conference and nationally continues to improve and the margin for error in training and performance continues to get smaller. To succeed we will need to hold ourselves accountable in everything we do and progress to the best of our ability each day.

"We have once again assembled a very competitive schedule that will prepare us for the championship segment of our season. By the time we get to Lake Natoma for the WCC Championships we will have competed against 13 teams that participated in the 2016 NCAA Championships. We believe there are things learned on the race course, in competition, that cannot be learned in practice and the best way to prepare for our conference championship is to use every competitive opportunity to learn, adjust, and improve. This schedule will give us a lot of opportunities to grow and be prepared to meet our end-of-season goals."
-Head Coach Glenn Putyrae

2017 Outlook
"We had a young crew last year so there was a lot of learning on the fly. The team has matured both mentality and physically. As a group, the leadership has been good and the level of commitment is better than I have seen in the last couple of years. They are looking forward to getting on the racecourse."
