2012 Outlook
"We are excited about the prospects for the upcoming season. With two new coaches and a new team structure we are still getting used to all the changes but the team has maintained a positive outlook and a strong work ethic. We have a challenging racing schedule that should provide plenty of opportunities to chart our progress. With the WCC Championship taking place May 12th (in preparation for the AQ in 2013) our season will be two weeks longer than it has been the past few years which has allowed us to adjust our schedule and add some races. "Gonzaga Women’s Rowing is focusing on what we can control. We have a competitive schedule this spring starting with Oregon State, then heading out east to race Cornell, Syracuse, Yale, Michigan State, and Buffalo, then back home for Western Washington and Washington State, then WCC’s and WIRA’s. We’re looking to see how competitive we can be in each individual race and see what kind of improvements we can make along the way."

"After a dissapointing finish in 2010 the Varsity team is 3 plus eights strong and led by 10 Seniors. This being the largest team in sometime has created a highly competitive atmosphere and a re-focus on being successful in 2011."

2010 Outlook
"Putting three boats into IRA’s was a huge step for us last year. We lost a lot of leadership in those four seniors who graduated. I think with a big sophomore and junior class and only two seniors, does that leadership continue on? I didn’t think the fall was representative of what this group can do. So we look to improve. We have a very strong and large frosh class and a good race schedule. We are excited to get to it!"
