2017 Outlook - "We are having a very productive winter, since coming off the water in mid November, and hope to carry that same momentum through our Spring training trip in Panama City Beach. The depth of the team has intensified greatly since last year, and we have more guys challenging each other for seats. The team is eager to start our spring campaign, which will include two duals in the south, SIRA, Dad Vails, and ACRA"

2012 Outlook - "Georgia Tech is having a productive winter training session, following up a successful fall regatta season. This might be the hardest working group I’ve seen in many years! The fall season brought the team the Bronze medal in the Men’s Collegiate 8+ at the Head of the Charles and a silver medal at the Hooch in the Champ 8 event. The women had a great showing at the Hooch earning a silver medal in the Club 8 at the Hooch. Each athlete is shooting for a PR at the Atlanta Erg Sprints February 11th. Two of our top erg scorers are Megan Smith and Matt Watters. The team is loaded with diligent workers with a strong sense of accomplishing their goals. We hope to peak for the season during the Dad Vail Regatta and ACRA. We have a great Recruiting Class coming in this fall. We will surely be stronger and deeper with the incoming Freshman class this fall."
