2018 Outlook - "It’s good to be back in Athens. After an up and down fall season of near misses and growing pains, the UGA varsity are slightly leaner but altogether meaner heading into this spring than they have been in some time. The goal is to continue building on the process we established in the fall, and as a result, turn some heads this spring come championship racing season. The novice are hungry as well, with their glimmers of athleticism and talent developing more and more. With their efforts and with the varsity young but rowing beyond their years in their grit and quality, it’s going to be a fun spring."

2017 Outlook - "Last year, growing into the 8+ as our priority was tough. We look forward to seeing how much stronger it has made us this year. Our hardest-working Novice group yet will definitely keep the Varsity on their toes."
-Head Coac Will Hedgpeth
Head Coach - William Hedgpeth, 2nd year
2015 Finish
- Varsity 4 - B Final at SIRA, top half at HOCR
- Lightweight 4 - A Final at SIRA
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 7
2016 Seniors - 5
2016 Outlook - "After seeing some success in fours at SIRA last year and earning our first guaranteed bid to Head of the Charles in quite some time, UGA Men's rowing is hoping to transition to an eights program this spring. The level of hard work and rowing continue to increase with each season, and it'??s time to start testing our best against everyone else??s best. A generally young Varsity, large and fast novice crew, and senior leadership that sets an example and leads selflessly bodes well for the next few years in Athens."

2018 Outlook - "Last Spring really blew the lid off anything we'd done before; some historic best times and finishes for the team including our first 8 to make a pit stop at the ACRA medals dock. But this Fall we struggled adjusting to a larger, more competitive team size. We are leaner than I thought we'd be this Spring, but hopefully that just means we're hungrier too. Plenty of seats are up for grabs to anyone willing to show they can move a boat better. The women here are absolutely capable of out-performing last year. Whether they do or don't may come down to whether or not they believe they can. 2018 is the year of the DAWG after all! Whatever happens, the dad jokes remain on point."

2016 Finish
- Varsity 8 - 6th at SIRA, 8th at ACRA

2017 Outlook - "Coming off one of the best Spring seasons in recent memory, fall results and times indicate we should be even quicker this year- possibly breaking a few team records. The Varsity squad is a relatively inexperienced group with well over two thirds in their second year. But once again, the seniors are setting the tone with their work ethic. The speed and athleticism of this year's Frosh squad rounds out the team well. I know these women are looking forward to all of the competition other teams have to offer at SIRA and ACRA."

2015 Finish
- Varsity 8 - 8th at SIRA, 13th at ACRA
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 5
2016 Seniors - 6
2016 Outlook - "2015 was the first time UGA entered a Women's Varsity 8+ at ACRA, and we were happy with the race, but seek to improve upon the results. We have a larger senior senior group setting the tone for this year's training being bolstered by a small group of 2015's Frosh class. A lot of work over the summer and some technical adjustments have yielded positive results so far. We look forward to this year's post-season racing."
