2012 Outlook "We have a young and feisty varsity squad. They are lead by a powerful sophomore class and strong senior leadership. This Freshmen class is our most experienced ever and they are looking to have a break out spring season. Everyone has been training hard this winter and seeing positive improvements on the erg. Our goal now it to turn that into boat speed. We have a challenging and exciting race schedule. We look forward to racing the best programs in the country."

2010 Finish
- Varsity 8: 14th at EARC Sprints
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 4
2011 Seniors - 4
2011 Outlook "The 2010-11 George Washington Men’s Rowing team features a stable of big and strong underclassman with tremendous potential. Three-quarters of the roster is freshmen or sophomores and this youth will be the program’s foundation for years to come. However, the key to success for the Colonials in the 2011 spring season is senior leadership and the team will look to outstanding captain Craig Helmstetter to help achieve their goals. Our main goal is simple, be faster than last year."

2012 Outlook "The GW Women returned to the water this fall having lost only one senior from last year’s squad. Fall 2011 was by far our best fall season to date supplying lots of enthusiasm heading into winter training. With a training trip to Tampa, Florida under our belt and temperatures in Washington, DC heating up, the Colonials are eager to get back out on the Potomac River this spring. Our team is still young but we will benefit from some valuable veteran experience in all boats this spring when we head north for our season opener at the Murphy Cup in Philadelphia." - Head Coach Eric Carcich
