2011 Finish

  • Varsity 8 - Metro Champs, 2nd at Kerr Cup
  • Varsity 4 - Metro Champs, 2nd at Kerr Cup, 6th at Dad Vail, 2nd at HOCR

2012 Outlook
"With our frosh/novice team currently being the most competitive in more than twenty years the future of the program looks extremely bright and should improve on the third place finish in the varsity eight from the 2009 Dad Vail in the very near future. The nucleus of the team will be the second place finishing four from this fall’s Head of the Charles."

Head Coach
Ted Bonanno, 23rd year

2011 Finish

  • Varsity 8 - 4th in Dad Vail Heat
  • Varsity 4 - 6th at Knecht Cup

Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 8

2012 Seniors - 4

2012 Outlook
"Traditionally Fordham’s Lightweight Varsity Eight has been one of the most competitive among Dad Vail schools. The last time we had a priority light eight was in 2008 and was undefeated, winning the Dad Vail by open water. Since then the focus has been on the heavies, with the top lightweights racing in heavyweight events. With the recent expansion of the coaching staff and overall program, Fordham is now rowing both light and heavyweight teams. The expectations are for the lightweight team to return to their status of the recent past."

    2012 Outlook
"Fordham has had outstanding lightweight crews in the past, including a National Championship in the 90’s and a third place finish in the four at the IRA in 2008. With the recent expansion of the coaching staff and overall program Fordham will be able to field an independent lightweight team for spring racing and once again compete at the highest level."
