Distance: 1500m
Conditions: SSW winds (cross-head) at 15mph, gusting to 20+ especially in the first 600m of the course, becoming considerably calmer in the last 500m.
Comments: In the 3/4/5th race, a collision in the first ten strokes led to a restart approximately 70m across the line, with very rough alignment on the restart.
As a result of the first-boat race, Salisbury retains the Curtis Cup. Many thanks as usual to Brunswick for making the trip.
