Championship Races: The Post IRA, Lake Carnegie, Officially Unofficial, Small Boats World Championship
June 3, 2018; Lake Carnegie

Submitted by Princeton Coaching Staff.

Distance: 2000
Conditions: Strong East Wind 10-15mph, gusting to 25mph. Flat water. The lanes were not fair, but participants earned their lane in previously run heats on Mercer Lake Friday and Saturday.
Comments: Thanks to Ron Chen and Sam Chang for refereeing the races. Thanks to the Penn Men’s staff for recording these accurate times and running the finish line. Thanks to the Tulsa Women’s Light Assistant Coach for being the best flagman on Lake Carnegie finish line all year (good snap on the down/up). Thank you Ed Hewitt for aligning the races and documenting the event. It happened. But not everyone would believe it. Thanks to all of the Lightweight Mens and Women’s coaches for their hustle and cooperation.
