Conditions: 8-10 mph headwind diminishing throughout the racing (3rd 8's racing first, 2nd 8's racing second and 1st 8's racing last). Tail current with flow being around 30,000 cfs. or below. Moderate chop diminishing throughout the racing.
Comments: All races were run side by side, with Central winning the coin toss and taking the inside of the first turn for all races. Good, hard racing by all crews in relatively tough conditions.
Fox Chapel's 3rd Varsity 8 included 4 novice oarsmen and Central's 3rd Varsity 8 included 1 novice oarsman.
