Conditions: Early races with the pair, novice four, varsity four, and novice eight encountered fast racing conditions with flat water and a mild head wind, racing against the current with a high tide. The second varsity eight event and varsity eight event faced a stronger head wind and chop in the first 500 meters tapering to 5-7 mph for the remainder of the course
