Distance: 1500 m
Conditions: Conditions at start were good with a slight cross wind. From 100m to about 600m into the race there was a strong cross wind with waves and some whitecaps. Conditions in this area got much worse as the day went on. From 600m to the finish slight cross wind, but basically flat conditions. Order of racing B4, G1, G2, G4, B3, G3, B2, B1.
Comments: In the second boat race crews started and about 100-200 meters into the race three crews clashed oars due to the conditions. The race was stopped and restarted. In the first boat race Salisbury caught an over-the-head crab 300 meters into the race, righted themselves, and then continued racing. The race was not stopped.
