Conditions: Variable quartering tailwind, strongest for the 2nd boat races.
Comments: The duPont Cup is awarded to the winners of the first boat races. Taft and Miss Porter's are this year's boys' and girls' winners, respectively. Miss Porter's has won the girls' cup for three consecutive seasons, also five of the last seven seasons (since they joined the regatta in 1996). The Pomfret girls' second boat establishes a new girls' course record of 5:41.69. On the boys' side, we are looking for more contestants, particularly ISL schools (with whom we have limited contact before New Englands), in order to fill out our regatta.
