Distance: 1800 m
Conditions: The course was shortened to 1800 m due to a strong, spring Chinook run on the Willamette. Crews Raced with tail wind and tail current. Weather was overcast with light rain and slight chop. The MV8, M2V8 and WV8 raced with significant wake activity. The rest of the day, the course was clear.
Comments: MN8- Willamette and Pacific Lutheran both raced as exhibition crews. Puget Sound MV8 caught boat stopping crab at 750 to go. Lewis & Clark WV8 caught boat stopping crab at 300 to go. WN8 event actual distance approximately 1600m.
