Distance: 1250 Meters
Conditions: Varying winds in speed and direction on the course and through the racing. Direct side wind from start through 500 meters, swiching to a stronger quartering head or side wind in last 600 meters. Conditions slowest for last two races. Order of racing: 4, 3, 2, 1.
Comments: Southfield did not have a 4th four and BBNS 5th four filled that slot.
In 2V race, Between 500 and 600 meters, BBNS and Lincoln had to bow around a Large Charles River Tour Boat, which created a little excitement, but did not affect the outcome of the race. other than to make equally longer courses for the two crews. Southfield rowed its course unimpeded.
Thanks to Lincoln and Southfield crews for making the long trek to Cambridge and providing some good racing.
