Distance: 2000meters
Conditions: Race was held on Grand River course. 200meters with two slight turns at 500meters and 1600meters. Races ran upstream into a moderate current. Winds started the day cross with a slight tail coming from the south west. Wind and chop heavier at the start with more shelter through the last 500meters. Winds around 10mph with moderate chop for early races ( MV4, WL8, MN8). Winds and chop increased to 15-20mph later in the day for remainder of the racing.
Comments: In the Varsity mens eight event MSUs blades went out of their lane and they hit the marker rounding turn one. OSUA boat missed the marker for turn two cutting the route shorter. Both Coaches decided to declare the race a draw and submit results as is. In the Novice Mens Four Event OSU A missed turn one and was disqualified. In the Novice Womens eight MSU had a boat stopping crab slightly after the 500meter mark.
