Comments: The highlight of the day was an apple pie contest where pies were judged on appearance, taste and crust. CRC's Greg Fuller beat out 8 other contestants to be crowned the Pie King of the Anacostia. A scoop of vanilla ice cream accompanied each delicious entry and the pies were enjoyed by all.
